We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with expertise in Owners Association and Property Management to oversee the company’s financial accounts, including property management and community management, to ensure that all finance and accounting functions are performed to deadline and standard. This includes reporting and returns, budgeting and forecasting, payroll processing and
financial analysis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the financial process of the company including the Owners Association and Property Management functions.
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the management and auditors.
Liaise with HR on payroll processing.
Responsible for accurate cash flow management and providing recommendations on spend allocation.
Effectively manage the company budgeting and forecasting processes.
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
Reconciling of G/L accounts
Administer Contingency Reserve Funds and Special Levy Funds
Process service charges as directed.
Prepare budget and cost models for Mixed used master communities and OAs and facilitate the approvals.
Set up initial financial information for the management of new strata properties to ensure the accuracy of billing information.
Familiarity with the tenant ledger, Leasing commissions, Property Management Fees, and customer security deposit refunds.
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems, policies and procedures.
Responsible for VAT filing and liaising with Tax Authority
Manage month-end and year-end closing process.
Liaise with external auditors for financial statements and ADM OA budget requirements.
Technical Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, CPA, ACCA,CMA equivalent preferred.
5+ years’ experience in general Accounting of which at least 2 years’ experience in Master Community Owners Association Management
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS and UAE Tax regulations
